Heads of Zhejiang DCA and Shanghai BCA Visit Wuzhen Yada IHEP

On March 6th 2019, Director of Zhejiang Civil Affairs Department Mr. Wang Jianhou and Director of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau Mr. Zhu Qinhao visited Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park (IHEP) to investigate the construction of aged-care service system. Also attending the investigation were Deputy Director of Zhejiang DCA Mr. Fang Renbiao, Director of Jiaxing BCA Mr. Zhu Shaoping, Mayor of Tongxiang Mr. Yu Huiyou, Deputy Mayor Mr. Lu Aichi, Director of BCA Mr. Zhu Xuelong and Deputy Director Mr. Li Zhong. Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Yada Park Mr. Fu Quanhua received the guests.

Director Mr. Wang Jianhou and Director Mr. Zhu Qinhao looked around zones of Wuzhen Yada IHEP, including Wuzhen Graceland - the independent retirement community, Yada Ageless Center and Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital. They learned about the operation mode and service concept of Wuzhen project, as well as the elderly-oriented demands of independent, partially-independent and disabled elders respectively in detail. The delegation affirmed Wuzhen project’s functional layout and service quality, and spoke highly of Yada for exploring healthcare and aged-care industries while driving the development of aged-care business in the region.

According to the delegation, the Yangtze River Delta region is facing with one of great challenges - aging population problem. The integration of Yangtze River Delta has been upgraded to a national strategy. In such context, the aged-care industrial cooperation and development in Yangtze River Delta will embrace new opportunities. Shanghai and Zhejiang Province can strengthen cooperation in the field of resource sharing, market co-prosperity and platform co-building. Through working with leading enterprises, the two regions may promote the high-quality development of regional aged-care service.
