Ministry of Natural Resources: Prioritize the Demand of Land for Aged-care Facilities

The Ministry of Natural Resources recently drafted the “Opinions on Strengthening Planning and Guaranteeing Land Use for the Development of Aged-care Services”. The "Opinion Draft" proposes that the municipal and county natural resources authorities should give priority to the land needs of aged-care service when preparing the annual state-owned construction land supply plan, and clearly define the land’s location, area, use and supply mode. If the land for aged-care service facilities involves new construction land, it shall be prioritized in the annual land use planning indicators.
