Nanjing Gulou Kindergarten Subbranch Settled at Yada Gaochun HLTP

On April 15th 2020, Nanjing Gaochun Graceland Kindergarten and Nanjing Gulou Kindergarten held the Cooperative Construction Agreement Signing Ceremony. Based on the Agreement, Nanjing Gulou Kindergarten Subbranch will be settled at Yada Gaochun Health Leisure Tourism Park (HLTP) that is one of the key projects in Jiangsu. The cooperation has got great supports from Gaochun District Government and Education Bureau in introducing excellent preprimary education resources in order to further enhance supporting facilities quality of the Park.

As plan, Nanjing Gulou Kindergarten Subbranch (Graceland Kindergarten) covers 4,050m2 for 9 classes of 3 grades, meaning 3-class for 1 grade. It will be built up and equipped according to modern standards. It is planned to complete the construction and come into service in 2021. After the completion of construction, the Kindergarten will not only meet the regional residents’ demands on high-quality preprimary education, but also become the new beginning of Gaochun District in preprimary education resource introduction. This is a large step forward for Gaochun in school running area with an open and diversified manner.

Nanjing Gulou Kindergarten formerly known as Nanjing Gulou Preschool, which was founded by Famous Educator Mr. Chen Heqin in 1923. It is the first kindergarten in China carrying out educational scientific research, and enjoys a high reputation in the field of preschool education home and abroad. In August 1952, it was renamed Nanjing Gulou Kindergarten. Following the traditions from Mr. Chen Heqin, the Kindergarten pays high attention to the research in education and teaching. It has launched many key research projects of the national, provincial and municipal level, such as “Activity Education Course”, “Unit Education Course” and “Transition from Kindergarten to Primary School”.
