Jiangsu Issued Three-year Action Plan to Promote Home-based Aged-care Service Ability

Recently, Jiangsu Provincial Civil Affairs Department issued Jiangsu Provincial Three-year Action Plan to Promote Home-based Service Ability (2022-2024). It offered a basket of policies and measures to keep improving the quality and efficiency of home-based and community aged-care service, trying to provide the elderly convenient aged-care service close to their homes. According to the Plan, till 2024, the home-based and community aged-care service facilities in the province will be further improved, the service coverage widen, service professional level significantly improved, and four basic systems for policy, market, standard and supervision will be basically established. The home-based and community aged-care service development level will be at the forefront of the nation. The sense of gain and happiness of the elderly in the province will be constantly enhanced.
