Youth Scientists Series Activity Held Successfully at Gaochun Graceland

On the afternoon of June 18th 2022, Magic Electricity in Summer – Youth Scientists Children Electricity Experiment Activity was held at the multifunction hall of Lohas Center of Gaochun Graceland successfully. About 40 children were introduced into the electricity world by teachers to explore the wonder of electricity.

The activity began with the electricity commonly seen in the nature. The teacher explained what was the conductor, the insulator and the principle of electric current in a detailed manner.

During the interaction, the teacher told the use of electricity and the application of electric power in our life by some joyful games. He also discussed the scientific theory with children.

At the last, the teacher guided children to make hand generator. All participants discussed, worked together and thought out the scientific theory. They finished their own works successfully. The electricity experiment inspired children’s creation and interest to explore science.

Youth Scientists series activity is the one of “Gao Library Chun Youth” brand activities mainly promoted by Gaochun Library in 2022. As one of service venue of Gaochun Library, Gaochun Graceland will keep carrying out series activities to stimulate the enthusiasm of children in science, guide them to learn science, cultivate proper social atmosphere for children to learn science, and improve their scientific ability.
