On 13th February, the National Health Commission held a press release to announce that the government has officially started to pilot online nurse service. Nurse and patient's safety are key issues in the pilot work.
Ms. Jiao Yahui, Deputy Director of Medical & Health Administration in National Health Commission, introduced two security issues at the press conference. One is how to protect the personal safety of nurses, and the other is medical safety.
On 12th February, the National Health Committee issued the “Internet + Nursing Service Pilot Work Plan”, which determines to conduct the pilot work in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong provinces from February to December 2019.
The online nurse service finally receives official recognition and begins piloting in six provinces and cities.
