Hainan Province Stimulates Medical Tourism Consumption

On January 1st, Hainan Province has published the latest “Hainan Health and Medical Tourism Implementation Plan”, which states that the province will build “one core and five areas” medical tourism system in four key areas naming medical treatment, medical beauty, rehabilitation and wellness. It is planned to build Hainan into a world-class medical tourism destination and a major source of medical tourism in the world in a decade, and realizes a total income of 40 billion yuan in medical tourism industry.
