2019 National Health Insight Report Released

Recently, the "2019 National Health Insight Report" has been released. The Report reseraches the health attitudes and behaviors of more than 50,000 people to analyse the status of national health and the characteristics of healthy consumption. From five angles namely national health situation, health literacy, health life appeal, medical service appeal and health consumption, the Report analyzes and explores the multi-level, diversified and personalized health needs of the public.


According to the Report, 96% of the public say they have health-related problems. On the psychological aspects of anxiety and depression, young people are significantly more troubled than middle-aged and older people, and middle-aged and older people are more worried about bone joints, blood pressure, blood sugar and blood lipids than young ones. In order to avoid health problems, the public is more willing to spend money on health. Online health care, air purifiers, nutritional supplements, fitness products and other health consumption have grown rapidly in recent years.


In terms of health consumption, online consultation is more recognized among young people. The generations after 70s and 80s are the main purchaser of health insurance, medical insurance and critical illness insurance. 90% of the public have purchased health products. Products recommend by professional institutes are more trusted. Based on this, the Report not only depicts the healthy portraits of the four age groups before70s, after 70s, after 80s and after 90s, but also the health service appeal and the development trend of the healthy consumer market.
