Rate of Elderly-Friendly Medical Institutes Exceeding 85% in Beijing

Recently, Beijing Healthcare Commission issued a notice on Carrying out Establishment and Re-evaluation of Elderly-Friendly Medical Institutes. In 2022, the rate of the elderly-friendly medical institutes in all districts will be no less than 85%. According to the Notice, the comprehensive hospitals, hospitals of traditional Chinese medicine (including hospitals of traditional Chinese and western medicine) above the second grade (inclusive), rehabilitation hospital, nursing homes, and community healthcare service centers in Beijing were brought into the elderly-friendly medical institutes establishment. In addition, Beijing also courage other kinds of medical institutes at different levels to join in vluntarily.
