Yada Parks Held Double Seventh Day Themed Activities

On August 4th, the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, as known as the Double Seventh Day of Chinese traditional folk festival, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park and Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park held festival themed cultural activities respectively to explore long-history Chinese culture genes and spend warm & romantic gathering time with residents and tourists.

On the afternoon of the 4th, “Romance on Fingers” Double Seventh Day Creative Hand-Making Activity was held at the Reception Hall of Wuzhen Graceland, the residential zone of Wuzhen Park. With the guidance of tutors, Graceland residents folded colorful hand-made flowers, sending to their beloved families and friends to decorate happy life.

Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital, as the healthcare zone of Wuzhen Park, launched “Romantic Rose to Guard Health ” Plan on the day. Hospital staff sent roses to female health check-up customers on the Day and offered a special discount for their families’ health examination, guarding love with healthcare.

In addition, Alila Wuzhen Hotel and Youth Plaza of Wuzhen Park also launched special festival programs, such as selected theme catering and festival films, providing abundant activity options for park residents and tourists.

On the evening of the 4th, Yada Academy of Yixing Park held an immersive Double Seventh Day Literati Gathering beside E Xi Bridge at Town Center of Yangxian Xishan. The Event was spontaneously organized and directed by community residents. Nearly 20 programs, including ancient poems, classic music and instrument performance, staged one by one, leading the audience to feel ancient romance and recalling beautiful memory of love.

The Literati Gathering began with electric blowpipe solo The Butterfly Lovers. Melodious rhythm was uniquely charming. Residents then made wonderful performances, including poem recitation, female solo, Wuxi minor scale, Shaoxing opera, Huangmei opera, chorus, saxophone, viola & Erhu and Chinese dulcimer combo.

The setting of Gathering stage this time was the real scenery of Town Center. Bridge, stone road and waterside platform were performance space. Scenery changes brought different form of performance into the real landscape. Performers seemed to travel in the garden, introducing the audience to an immersive artistic atmosphere.

Beginning with The Butterfly Lovers, the Event also ended with it, drawing to a successful close in the violin playing by the community resident.
