Yada Projects Collectively Celebrate National Day & Double Ninth Festival

On October 7th 2019, the day of traditional Chinese Double Ninth Festival and also the 70th Anniversary period of PRC Founding, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park (IHEP), Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park (Yada Yangxian Xishan) and Gaochu Health Leisure Tourism Park organized activities respectively to celebrate the festivals.

At Wuzhen Graceland, the 5th Double Ninth Festival Longevity Banquet was warmly held. One of customs at Double Ninth Festival is holding banquet for praying longevity. Wuzhen Graceland, therefore, organized residents to gather a banquet with their own cuisines. Sharing of tastes built up neighborhood of the community. Residents with talents also gave wonderful performance and played games during the banquet to celebrate festivals, which showed the harmonious living atmosphere and abundant cultural environment at Wuzhen Graceland.

The elderly living at Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center spent a joyous day for the special themed activity “Double Ninth Festival Event”. Accompanied by family members and relatives, they learned about the origin of Double Ninth Festival, delivered the balls standing for health in games and made chrysanthemum hangings by hand.

On the Double Ninth Festival, Poetic Pottery Capital·Yangxian Xishan Double Ninth Festival Cultural Fair was held at Yada Yangxian Xishan. It was sponsored by Yada Health Ecological Park and Yixing Urban Construction & Cultural Tourism Group. More than 70 well-known poets, writers, calligraphers, painters and performers attended the event including Mr. Xu Feng, Mr. Yang Kui and Mr. Tao Dufeng. Under the theme of Poetic Yangxian Xishan and Warm Double Ninth Festival, the event combined pottery-themed life elements of Yixing through all activities, namely poem, writing, painting, zither, art and tea. It contained various kinds of performances such as collecting poem-creation inspirations, Chinese zither playing, calligraphy and painting creation, Pintan singing and tea art performance. Double Ninth Festival Cultural Fair has been a new cultural benchmark of Yixing pottery-style life, adding more poetic elements and cultural appealing to landscape of Yada Yangxian Xishan.

October Elegant Verve serial activities at Nanjing Gaochun Graceland lasted till the Double Ninth Festival. Gaochun Graceland invited craftsmen to show and teach pottery art, feather fans making and ornaments making on site. Through joint creation of beautiful items, the activities have spread life aesthetics to residents and promoted the communication among neighbors, which would help to create harmonious community life environment in the future.
