Three Yada Parks Celebrate the Poetic and Reunited Lantern Festival

On February 15th, the fifteen day of the first lunar month, Chinese traditional festival Lantern Festival, three Yada Parks at Wuzhen, Gaochun and Yixing held thematic cultural activities respectively, gathering community residents together in a poetic atmosphere to display rich cultural connotation and spiritual core of the traditional holiday.

Wuzhen Graceland, the residential zone of Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park held the “Joyful Lantern Festival and One Warm Family” activity at the south square of Reception Hall. Focusing on traditional festival customs, the activity set up many programs, such as lanterns making, pot casting, archery and sweet dumpling making, to create authentic Lantern Festival folk atmosphere. More than four hundred residents gathered together, sending greetings and celebrating this moment.

At the same time, Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center, the healthcare zone of Wuzhen Park, started the “Lantern Festival Celebration” party. In accordance with the local epidemic control requirement, only the elderly in the Center were admitted to participate. Therefore, the Center specially used the live streaming method to realize online reunion for the elderly and their families & friends, spending a good time together.

Gaochun Graceland, the residential zone of Gaochun Health Leisure Tourism Park, held “Taste of Chinese New Year, Joy of Lantern Festival” thematic activity. More than thirty residents gathered at Graceland Lohas Center. They gave play to their ingenuity to make featured sweet dumplings, adding happy flavor to the festival.

Yada Academy of Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park specially launched the First Yangxian Xishan Lantern Festival Literati Gathering at the Lantern Festival of Tiger Year. The activity was held at Yada Life Bookstore. With the theme of “Poetic Reunion on Lantern Festival”, the activity led the audience to feel the charm of traditional culture and experience the poetic life of the Town, through the content of poem leading read, music poetry recitation, folk customs sharing, program performances, lantern riddles guessing and sweet dumplings making. More than fifty people including the residents and Yada staff attended the Activity and tasted the sense of Spring Festival in a poetic atmosphere. At nightfall, fireworks bloomed in the night sky at Town Center of Yixing Park, pushing the joyful atmosphere of Lantern Festival to a new high.

Tiger Year Spring Festival celebrations rounded off with the Lantern Festival activities at three Yada Parks. During the Spring Festival holiday, Yada Parks complied with the epidemic control requirements proactively, as well as innovated the activity form and interaction pattern based on local cultural features and residents’ composition. They used new technical methods, such as drone show and live streaming to inject new era vitality into classic traditional activities. In the New Year, Yada will continue to improve service quality to meet the living demands of contemporary people, creating an ideal home for sustainable development.
