Five Ministries Promote Deep Integration of Healthcare and Tourism

On May 17th, the National Health and Family Planning Committee, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the National Tourism Administration and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly issued the Guidance Opinions on Promoting the Development of Healthcare and Tourism. It asks to promote the deep integration of healthcare and tourism, and develop high-end medical service, special discipline, traditional Chinese medicine wellness, rehabilitation and wellness, the combination of medical and nursing products by medical organization, health management institute, rehabilitation and care institute and leisure and wellness institute, based on local featured resources and key travel destination, and create the healthcare and tourism industrial chain.
