President of Zhejiang Greentown Hospital Visits YaDa International

The President of Zhejiang Greentown Hospital Mr. Zheng Chang visited YaDa International’s headquarters in Beijing on March 16, 2012. Mr. Zheng exchanged ideas with the management team and staff members and discussed deeply on how to smooth the construction and operation of Wuzhen Medical Park. The Chairman and President of YaDa International Mr. Jiang Jianning, Vice Presidents Mr. Zhou Jianping and Ms. Gao Xiang attended the meeting.

Mr. Zheng shared a great deal of his professional knowledge and  experience in hospital management, i.e. successful landing of medical park requires a perfect combination of both foreign management philosophy and local practice; various measures can be taken on bringing down the cost of medical appliances; check-up centers need to differentiate so as to survive and make a profit; and emphasis in information system management will efficiently reduce the risk of medical mal-practice, etc. Mr. Zheng’s profound knowledge and intelligence has impressed the attendants and gained him enthusiastic applause during the hours’ of discussion.

Chairman Jiang expressed his sincere thanks to Mr. Zheng’s visit. He said, as the pioneer of running a successful private hospital in China, Mr. Zheng knew the pulse of medical care reform. His rich experiences accumulated in planning and managing hospitals that met the market demand were well worth learning.

Mr. Zheng Chang, cardiologist, is the researcher of China Academy of Management Science, Guest Professor of Hangzhou Normal University, President of Zhejiang Greentown Hospitals, Vice President & General Manager of Zhejiang Greentown Hospital Investment Co., Ltd. He also works as the member of the 2nd Council of Zhejiang Medical Doctor Association, the Standing Deputy Director of Private Hospital Branch of Zhejiang Hospital Management Association, and the member of Hangzhou 7th Standing Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. Mr. Zheng successively won the Second Level Award of Science and Technology Achievement issued by Ministry of Health, the First Prize of Hangzhou Major Science and Zhejiang Invention Golden Award. In addition, Mr. Zheng gained International Silver Invention Award in Geneva in 1988 and his story was widely reported.
