On November 28th 2012, Vice Mayor of Beijing Mr. Ding Xiangyang visited Beijing headquarters of Yada International. He and his colleagues were warmly received by Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning. They discussed in detail the development of aged-care and medical rehabilitation industry. Vice Presidents of Yada International Mr. Zhou Jianping and Ms. Gao Xiang, General Manager of Leader (Beijing) Medical Park Management Advisory Ltd. Mr. Li Ruicheng and Chief Medical Officer Chen Yaping participated in the meeting.
Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning presented to the guests detailed information on the development strategies of Yada International and planning concepts of Wuzhen International Health Ecological Park. He said that Wuzhen project was in line with China’s national conditions while introduced mature concepts in retirement communities in developed countries, providing the aged with comprehensive supports by combining medical rehabilitation service and university for senior citizens. After that, Mr. Zhou Jianping reported to the Vice Mayor detailed development progress of Wuzhen project. After listening to these reports, Mr. Ding Xiangyang commented favorably on planning and building of the Wuzhen project. He said that resolving the issues related to aging population need joint efforts from both governments and the private sectors. Beijing municipal government would introduce a series of supportive policies aiming at speeding up development of the aged-care service industry.
During the meeting, they also discussed in detail on the possibilities of establishing a Yada International Health Ecological Park in Beijing. In terms of land needed for the potential project, Mr. Ding Xiangyang said that land use for retirement facilities would be allocated as part of Beijing’s annual plan on supplying land for state-owned projects. The policy aimed at creating favorable conditions for private capital investing in the senior service industry.
