During the stay in Shanghai, the visiting team visited 6 hospitals namely Shanghai Sunshine Rehabilitation Center, Shanghai St. Michael Hospital, American Medical Center, Sino United Health, Huashan Hospital and ProMed Cancer Center. The visiting team discussed with related parties on the topics of the operating mode, developing obstacle and solution concerning the private-run medical institutions and gained insight into the personnel allocation, operating of HIS, importing of medical devices, connecting with commercial insurance, and certification of medical quality. In addition, potential future cooperation was touch based.
The final stop of the visit is the on-site survey of the company’s Wuzhen project.
The current insufficient rehabilitation resource supply and limited service capacity makes it the right timing forthe high-end rehabilitation medicalservices entering into the market, along with the supporting policy issued by the Ministry of Health that encourages social capital investing in rehabilitation hospitals. This visit strengthened Yada International’s confidence in high-end rehabilitation demand and helped set up the initial communication platform by networking with other hospitals for the benefit of the future operation of Wuzhen Medical Park.
