Yada Senior Living Launched Aged-care Industry Platform in Japan

On the 20th December 2016, Chairman of Beijing Yada Senior Living Group Corp. Mr. Zhou Jianping entered into a joint venture cooperation framework agreement with the President of Japan International Medical Health Welfare Association (JIMHWA) in Tokyo. The two companies agreed to set up a joint stock company in Tokyo Japan – Yada Global Senior Living Co., Ltd. – to integrate China and Japan’s aged-care industrial resources and jointly explore their aged-care markets. The JV Company, funded by main core members of JIMHWA, will be controlled by Yada Senior Living.

Japan International Medical Health Welfare Association is a comprehensive platform for the aged-care and healthcare industries with the enterprise resources in the field of special aged nursing, hot spring aged-care, nursing-care training, medical care, design, construction and consultancy. Through long-term business contacts, Yada Senior Living has built up good mutual trust and sense of approval with main members of JIMHWA, such as Japan Universal Co., Ltd., Setokensetsu Co., Ltd., Yugawa Co., Ltd. and Kanagawa Social Welfare Corporation. The two companies both expect through the cooperation to explore superior Japanese aged-care industrial resources deeper, and carry out all-round cooperation at the aspects of nursing and high-end management talents training and expatriation, aged-care products R&D，allocation and integral resolution, aged-care project consultancy, planning and design, aged-care industry exchanges, senior people tourism and health checkup as well as the industry investment and M&A on the JV platform, so as to meet China’s great demands arising from severe population aging and open up development space.

The conclusion of JV cooperation framework agreement is a significant step taken by Yada Senior Living for setting up the investment platform in Japan, allocating overseas aged-care market resources, introducing leading aged-care concepts and back nurturing domestic aged-care business. The JV will be conducive to further improve resource integration ability and technical progress of Yada Senior Living. The company will keep improving and creating business models, deepen its layout in links of the aged-care industry chain and drive the whole chain development.

During the trip in Japan, Chairman of Yada Senior Living Zhou Jianping and Vice President Mr. Han Kuialso visited some famous Japanese aged-care enterprises, including Chief Executive Director of Tokyo Busunkaiand Aoikai Medical Group Mr. Nomura and Chief Director of Kanagawa Social Welfare Corporation Mr. Toshio Ashizawa, had in-depth discussions on Sino-Japan business development, and reached some consensus.
