Elderly-Oriented Architecture Lab Opens to Celebrate Yada Sixth Anniversary

On the April 13th 2017, during Yada Sixth Anniversary, the Elderly-Oriented Architecture Lab, co-built by Yada Group and China Architectural Design Group (CADG) grandly opened. Chairman of China Construction Technology Consulting Co. Ltd. Mr. Xiu Long, Vice President Ms. Sun Ying, Vice President of Yada Group Mr. Han Kui, Chief Consulting Architect of CADG Mr. Liu Yanhui, General Manager of National Residential Human Settlement Engineering Consultants Ltd. Ms. Lou Ni and manufacturer representatives from Japan and Taiwan attended the event.

CADG Elderly-Oriented Architecture Lab is the first experimental research platform focusing on the ergonomics and the environment-behavior science of the aged people living environment in China. It is co-established by CADG, CADG’s subsidiary National Residential Human Settlement Engineering Consultants Ltd. and Yada Group. Its research findings provide data support for a series of aged people residential standards and specifications including the National Aged People Residential Architecture Design Specification, the scientific research subjects such as the National Key Technology Support Program, the aged-care facilities construction and the residential environment elderly-oriented design and renovation.

At the subsequent International Workshop on the Elderly-Oriented Architecture Design and Technology Application, Vice President Mr. Han Kui made a theme speech On Exploring the Age-care Model on invitation. He shared Yada’s experience on the healthcare and aged-care industry layout and Wuzhen project construction, which got favorably high praise from guests and audience.
