NHC: Standardized Resident Training is Not Required for Intermediate Title Physician

Recently, the National Health Commission (NHC) issued the Notice on the 2018 Resident Physician Standardized Training and Assistant General Practitioner Training Enrollment & Graduation. NHC subsequently released an interpretation of the Notice, stating that: physicians with intermediate or above professional titles in clinical speciality, traditional Chinese medicine and dental hygiene do not need to participate in resident standardized training. The resident physician standardized training for graduated medical MSc or Ph.D. degree students is voluntary.
