Wuzhen Gralceland Yile College Autumn Semester Opening Ceremony Grandly Held

On September 1st 2018, Wuzhen Graceland Yile College Autumn Semester Opening Ceremony was grandly held at Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park. The newcomers and returning students joyfully gathered to welcome the new semester.

The ceremony mainly included the Newcomer Welcome Party, the Admission Oath, awarding the memorial school badges and other activities. During the Admission Oath, Aunt Guo, the student representative, said, “I entered the school in fall of 2014 and have been enrolled in dance class, vocal music class, channels and collaterals exercise, smart phone class and piano class. This semester, I am enrolled the ukulele class. In this big family, I have learnt a lot of knowledge, techniques and skills. I feel joyful both mentally and physically. All schoolmates are like my brothers and sisters, which makes me happy. More important, Yile brings my college dream come true.

Just like the admission oath saying, “positive in class, confident to face difficulties, passionate to welcome most beautiful time”, study empowers the elderly while leads them to explore the world, face life and discover inner beauty. Yile College enabled the service mission of intellectual aging, joyful aging and productive aging.

Wuzhen Graceland Yile College is the priority-launched zone during the construction phase of Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park. The University for the Aged, with the floor area of 35000 m2, provides tens of classes. It builds up daily life form for the aged and carries out activities for the aged people’s mental and physical health by the school organization. Since the opening, Yile College has organized kinds of classes and activities that enrich the elderly’s spiritual life, create good social environment and win good comments from the community residents. The College undertakes the social responsibility to build up community senior citizens’ education and culture life.
