Yada Hospital Held Graceland Free Clinic Activity

On December 23rd 2018, Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital held a large-scale medical experts free clinic activity at the small hall of Wuzhen Graceland in Zhejiang Yada International Health Ecological Park. Multidisciplinary experts covering the cardiovascular medicine, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neurology, traditional Chinese medicine and respiratory provided medical consultation to nearly a hundred of Graceland senior residents and their relatives.

This free clinic is a large-scale healthcare service activity for Graceland senior residents following five monthly Graceland health lectures from this July to November, for the purpose to protect the senior people’s health in winter.

The activity was held during the Winter Solstice, a frozen and dry season. Sudden illness caused by chronic diseases easily happens to the senior people. Therefore, Yada Hospital invited medical experts from the cardiovascular medicine, respiratory and traditional Chinese medicine to answer the questions of the senior people on the stroke, arthrosis protection, respiratory system and health maintenance using traditional Chinese medicine. On the activity day, many senior people brought their medical records and checkup materials for consultation on the site.

Graceland Free Clinic is one of healthcare services to Graceland residents provided by Yada Hospital. Based on feedbacks of monthly Graceland health lecture and combining season features, Yada Hospital invites experts from multiple disciplines to provide cross-specialty joint free clinic service, solving medical problems of senior people in different systems and body functions. It has become a convenient and efficient green channel for senior people to get medical consultation.

During the year of 2018, Yada Hospital has organized ten health lectures. The themes cover the premonitory symptom and inducement of hypoglycemic coma, the premonitory symptom of stroke and prognosis of training, symptoms of heat stroke and its first-aid, daily prevention of cataract, joint protection and training, protection of intestines & stomach and treatment to dyspepsia, etc. It has also organized two large-scale free clinics covering neurology rehabilitation, blood vessel of brain, gastroenterology, respiratory, cardiovascular medicine, endocrinology and metabolism, orthopedics, traditional Chinese medicine, ophthalmology, etc. These activities have achieved consistent critical acclaim from Graceland senior residents.
