Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area Planning Released

On  18th February, the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council issued the “Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area Development Plan”. The Chapter 8, “Building a Quality Living Circle Suitable for Living, Working and Travelling”, Section 5 “Shaping the Healthy Bay Area” plans for the development of the medical and health industry in Bay Area, including the Hong Kong and Macao entities can set up medical institutions in the Pearl River Delta, the establishment of international standards for the Chinese medicine industry, Hong Kong and Macao medical staff can go to the Pearl River Delta for short-term practice, etc.
