Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center Held Health Theme Lecture

On March 19th 2019, Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center held the first health theme lecture at Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park. The elders from Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center and Pine Care Yada Daily Center attended the activity.

The theme of the lecture is Prevention and Treatment to Hypertension and Senile Chronic Bronchitis. The general practitioner of Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center introduced the disease symptoms, prone groups, risk factors, disease effects as well as methods of prevention and treatment. He also answers the questions of the elderly properly.

Health theme lecture is a monthly public benefit activity newly launched by the Elderly Center for its elderly residents. It aims to popularize the knowledge of common diseases, spread proper methods of prevention and treatment as well as scientific health management concept, keep the elderly away from wellness rumors and avoid them practicing wrong and informal healthcare method by themselves that may be unhealthy.

Adhering to the service concept of “respecting the elderly as family”, Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center provides overall good quality medical and nursing services covering culture & entertainment, health management, daily care, psychological counseling, social communication, cultural religions, etc. Since its official operation on December 23rd 2017, the Elderly Center has been improving service procedures and operational mechanism to make aged-care service more convenient, comprehensive and cost-effective. On October 11th 2018, the Elderly Center was listed as the “service unit for oversea Chinese” of Jiaxing Municipal Oversea Chinese Federation and Tongxiang Municipal Oversea Chinese Federation. In December of that year, Tongxiang basic medical insurance system for urban workers and urban & rural residents has been implemented at the Center.
