Yada Hospital Held Graceland Health Lecture Themed Digestive System

On August 31st 2019, Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital held the Health Lecture at Wuzhen Graceland Health Promotion Hall. This Lecture focused on the digestive system diseases that easily occurred among the elderly in autumn, and provided detailed knowledge and health guidance.

There are two main themes of this Lecture, namely the Influence of Common Drugs on Digestive System and Gastrointestinal Diseases related to Food, which answered most frequent questions of the elderly on the digestive system diseases and pointed out common medical mistakes.

The digestive department expert invited by Yada Hospital firstly introduced the structure of the digestive system, then explained symptoms after medicine to stomach, intestines and liver, as well as common medication errors.

In the Lecture, the elderly consulted the expert on their digestive system problems. The expert explained the health checkup methods and common symptoms in life such as accidental swallowing fishbone, date pit and duodenum ulceration. He also showed colonoscopy images accordingly as well as introduced the treatment plan and prevention methods.

Detailed introduction and answers from the expert got very positive feedback from the elderly. The approaching autumn is a high-incidence season of digestive system diseases. This Lecture aims to build up a scientific and effective prevention mechanism for Graceland elderly residents’ health management. When facing with related problems, the elderly would be able to make proper decision.
