NHC: Sixth Edition of Treatment Plan Adds "Recoverer's Plasma Treatment"

The National Health Commission issued a diagnosis and treatment plan for new coronavirus pneumonia (Trial Version Six). The sixth version of the plan adds "Plasma Treatment of Rehabilitated Patients", which is recommended for patients with rapid disease progression, severe and critically ill. For usage and dosage, the plan says refer to "Clinical Treatment Plan for Recovery Period of New Coronary Pneumonia Rehabilitation Patients (Trial Version One)". For critically ill patients with high inflammatory reactions, "extracorporeal blood purification technique can be considered when conditions permit." has been amended to "extracorporeal blood purification techniques such as plasma exchange, adsorption, perfusion, and blood / plasma filtration can be considered if conditions permit."
