Yangxian Xishan New Culture Landmark – Yada Theater Starts Construction Soon

One more culture landmark of Yada Yangxian Xishan Project – Yada Theater will formally start construction within the next few days. Yada Theater covers about 15000 m2 and has the floor area of 5500 m2. Mr. Lu Hao, one of the well-known architects in China and President & Senior Partner of GOA, leads the design to create a ceremonial and symbolic cultural highland.

Locating in green hills and tea gardens, Yada Theater enjoys advantaged natural environment and convenient traffic. From a distance, the Theater constitutes an ethereal and fresh wash painting with hills far away, bamboos and tea plants surrounded. Look at it closely, the Theater forms high-low visual effect with Dongpo Pavilion in the north, connects to the Town Center in the east, neighbors with Dongda Road in the south and has an easy access to the residential zones such as Cloud and Brook just across a road. The building is not only one necessary part of the natural landscape, but also a part of Yangxian Xishan’s living atmosphere.

The Theater is designed to integrate the visual aesthetics and cultural functions into a whole. Surrounding the yard, the Theater uses a circular space layout to create rich sense of emotion and space experience outdoors. With the natural environment, it makes the poetic “one step one scene” effect into reality. The pottery plates on the external wall displays the Pottery City element of Yixing while enhancing the classic sense of the architecture. In the building, it uses different space heights to bring varied space layouts. Borrowing landscape outsides, it offers integrated visual effect outside and inside.

As a theater, Yada Theater also demands high-level performance in professional functions. As design, it has a professional hall with the capacity of more than 500 audience, the supporting service facilities, the private rest area and the rehearsal area, which could meet diversified occasional requirements. As the stage design, audio system as well as lighting equipment designed and installed by specialists, the Theater allows the change from open stage to frame stage, and meet the public-address system requirements of both natural and electroacoustic sound. It can be used for middle and large scale performances of the Park, also for high-level professional performances such as concerts and dramas.

Yada Theater Can Be Used for More Than 80% Types of Performance

After the construction start of Yada Theater in 2020 spring, other supporting facilities such as Sports Park and Yada Hospital will come into construction in the first half year. With the improvement of function zones in Yada Yangxian Xishan, a beautiful town life picture is coming into reality gradually.
