Wuzhen Yada IHEP Held Dragon Boat Festival Series Activities

On June 25th 2020, the Dragon Boat Festival, different zones of Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park (IHEP) held a series of special activities to celebrate the Festival respectively.

“Joyous Graceland, Festive Dragon Boat Festival” theme activity was held at Water Street of Wuzhen Graceland. Dragon Boat Festival Activity is one of Graceland’s classic festival celebrations. This year, the activity added more programs with fun in addition to three traditional sections - Dragon Boat Festival Praying, Fun of Folk Customs and Handmaking, such as Chinese-style Fashion Show, Hand-making Antique Hairpin and Dragon Boat Festival Gourmet Food, which enriched the festival content and met owners’ diversified needs.

Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital organized an educational festival activity with enjoyment for inpatients and their families. The activity started with a teaching video about epidemic prevention from Nursing Department, enhancing inpatients and their families’ epidemic prevention awareness and level. Then, nurses guided the participants to make Dragon Boat Festival sachets that could exercise hand-brain coordination practice, as well as expressed the implication of mosquito repellent and fending off evil. The activity was widely acclaimed by inpatients and their family members for it enlivened the hospitalization atmosphere during the epidemic.

The elderly living at Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center gathered together to spend a cheerful Dragon Boat Festival. The elderly joined in varied kinds of games such as Festival Folk Games, Making Rice Dumplings, Sewing Sachets and etc., adding festival atmosphere to the Center.

Since entering into operation stage, Wuzhen Yada IHEP focuses on the spiritual culture life within the Park. It has organized varied forms of events to enrich the community life on different festivals. As one of traditional Chinese festivals, Dragon Boat Festival celebration is a featured event of Wuzhen Yada IHEP. All event themes and content are designed based on actual demands of owners and customers. While carrying forward the national culture, all activities are conductive to promote the neighborhood, improve living experience, build up distinct community culture of Yada Park and trigger brand resonance.
