Yada Health Park and NJIT Negotiates University-Enterprise Cooperation

On the afternoon of July 3rd, Party Committee Secretary of Nanjing Institute of Technology (NJIT) Mr. Shi Guojun paid a special visit to Yixing Yada International Health Park for exchange and had an in-depth meeting on university-enterprise cooperation.

Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning introduced the original intention to establish Yada and its development history in detail. He pointed out that, Yada, dedicating to healthcare and aged-care industries, has pioneered a compound park pattern for aged-care service. Yada invests health parks at Wuzhen of Zhejiang province and Yixing & Nanjing Gaochun of Jiangsu province respectively. It makes great efforts to create a sample worth learning for China’s healthcare and aged-care industries in the terms of innovative business and social practice.

Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning expressed his admiration to NJIT on its persistent educational philosophy of “Practice What You Learnt ” and the educational feature of “Focusing on Application-Oriented Talent Cultivation”. He expected that both sides could take advantages of each other to carry practical exchanges and cooperation around new problems and demands derived from aging society through the university-enterprise cooperation platform.

Secretary Mr. Shi Guojun explained NJIT’s profile, including educational philosophy, featured disciplines, specialties setup and etc. He expected to explore diversified cooperation modes in talent cultivation, site establishment, project research and etc., jointly boosting the development of China’s aged-care industry.

In the meeting, participants of both sides agreed to have further communication and discussion on internship & employment, voluntary service, elderly-oriented product research & development and Yada case study for more specific and practical cooperation.

Before the meeting, NJIT leadership visited Yada Culture & Art Center, Wellness & Aged-care Community, Town Center, Ageless Center and Yada Academy.
