Wuzhen Yada IHPE Celebrates National Day and Mid-autumn Festival

The first day of golden October was both National Day and Mid-autumn Festival. Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park (IHEP) held varied activities to celebrate the two festivals at different zones. It was full of joyful and happy festival atmosphere.

Full Moon and Reunion activity began alongside Baima Lake of Wuzhen Graceland. Varied activities, such as festival games, craft fair and club performance, brought cheers to Graceland.

On the night of Mid-autumn Festival, Wuzhe Graceland also held some traditional festival activities, such as floating river lanterns, outdoor cinema and Mid-autumn Festival Night Party. The event of Wuzhen Graceland would last from October 1st to 3rd. Every day, there would be abundant activities to enrich the residents’ life.

Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital held a special health lecture for inpatients. Under the theme of daily management on elderly diabetes, the Lecture gave detailed explanation at the aspects of elderly physiological characters, potential risky diseases and clinical characteristics of elderly diabetes.

Moreover, Yada medical team also introduced the principles on daily dietary therapy. They used simulation tools to show how to pair and cook food in a scientific way, which solved puzzles of patients and their families present and got favorable comment.

At Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center, there stayed many senior citizens with the same age of the Nation. They grew up with the development of the Nation and attached importance to the sense of ceremony on National Day. On September 30th, the Center held a National Day Party in advance to celebrate the birthday of China with the elderly.

In the Party, the elderly prepared special performances to express their affection and praise to mother land, including poetry reading and chorus. On the night of Mid-autumn Festival, the Center also organized the elderly to watch the moon and guess lantern puzzles. The event was filled of joyful atmosphere for traditional festival.  

In 2020, the Mid-autumn Festival and National Day happened on the same day. Yada Projects including Wuzhen Yada IHEP held celebrations of different scale with varied themes to enrich the spiritual life of local people and Yada residents, promote traditional culture and strengthen patriotism. At Yada Yangxian Xishan in Yixing, First Hufu Yangxian Xishan Mid-autumn Lantern Festival was in full swing. Nanjing Gaochun Graceland held special themed activities to add wonderful moments to residents’ daily life, such as tea tasting and picnic parties.
