Graceland Birthday Party and Extraordinary Happy Moment

In the expectation of Graceland residents, the December Birthday Party arrived as plan. In Graceland family full of love, the University for the Aged and clubs brought wonderful performance for the birthday persons.

Dancing class students from the University performed a dance A Charming Face among Peach Blossoms. That was they created for the birthday party specially. All dancers danced with floating long silk fans that were like peach blossoms, creating a poetic mood.

Chinese rope weaving was a traditional but reminiscent game. Just a rope could be changed into varied kinds of forms, making a lot of unknown joy.

It was introduced into the Birthday Party. Fingers masterly danced with the mind to make different forms of patterns.

Members of Kidult Recreation Club and Music Element Club brought splendid songs and instrument performance that won burst of applause.

Madam Lu from Taiji Sword Class showed her style by a sword dance. “May every birthday person happy returns!” She said.

Birthday witnessed time passing. No matter how old they were, they still remained their naivety. Grandpa Lu was 90 years old this year. As one of birthday persons today, he shared his wellness tips. “Try to look on the bright side of things, be adaptable to circumstances, no worries in my mind, focus on nutrition, and exercise properly.”

Uncle Wan, growing under the red flag, would be 80 years old. Reviewing his passing days, he said, “Now, I watched the sun rising and setting in Graceland. I find myself and my interests back. That is meaningful. I treasure such happy late life.”

A birthday party gathered wishes. We kept creating good life in Graceland while sharing happiness among neighborhood. Wish all birthday people healthy and happy.

In this year, we have had a lot of warm moments in birthday parties. Our happiness would continue in next year.
