New Requirements for Registration of Licensed Pharmacists Issues
Date:2020.12.28
Recently, the State Food and Drug Administration has publicly solicited opinions on the "Administrative Measures for the Registration of Licensed Pharmacists (Draft for Comments)". The document stipulates that licensed pharmacists should participate in 90 hours of continuing education and training each year, with 1 credit for every 3 hours, and a total of 30 credits per year. Among them, professional subjects are generally not less than two-thirds of the total hours. Government encourages licensed pharmacists to participate in training. After obtaining the license, a pharmacist shall engage in corresponding practicing activities in accordance with the registered practicing area, practice type, practice scope, as well as practice unit, and shall not change it without authorization.
