MIIT：Carry Out Internet App Elderly-Oriented and Barrier-free Renovation

In the Press Conference of December 25th, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) specified a series of measures to help the elderly to use smart technology. According to MIIT, since January 2021, a one-year Special Project of Internet Application Elderly-oriented and Barrier-free Renovation would start. 115 websites for public service and 43 mobile applications that were closely related to the elderly’s life and work would be firstly renovated, for the purpose that these products had simply interface and were easy to operate.
