Wuzhen IHEP Enhances Prevention Measures for Rising Epidemics

As the late winter is approaching, COVID-19 epidemic has edged up by degrees. According to the local authority’s guidance, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park (IHEP) further strengthens and refines the prevention measures based on the existing procedures to protect the residents’ safety and health.


Wuzhen Graceland refines the community management procedures more strictly involving disinfection and thermometry, which cuts off the virus from the source. At each entrance, the security guards check the temperature and health code of person who accesses to the Park. The property management staff disinfects the public area at least twice a day.



To guarantee the daily demands of the residents, Graceland Convenience Store and Vegetables & Fruits Supermarket offer convenient service for the residents to place an order of vegetables, fruits and other material in advance. It reduces the chance of gathering and lowers the risk of cross-infection.



Zhejiang Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital organized special training on COVID-19 prevention for whole staff including medical team, caregivers and logistical personnel. The training introduced knowledge on COVID-19 virus prevention and control, and trained the prevention & control skills, which ensured staff at each position had the sense and capability of screening the virus.



In addition, the Hospital follows the hospital infection management principle of “same prevention measures on people & material and medical staff & patients”. All visitors have to make an appointment in advance. Both duration of visit and visitor number have been tightened. All visiting activities should be canceled. Enhanced access management policies have been implemented, including measures on temperature survey, health code check and gauze mask wearing management, etc. At the ward and area for diagnosis & treatment, the disinfection frequency increases and monitoring on the health of patients and caregivers have been strengthened. The staff travel management has been carried out. The Hospital also organizes contingency plan field exercise to find the loophole and shortcoming, optimize the coping capacity and prevent the epidemics in a scientific manner.



Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center carries out a six-step management based on the existing epidemic prevention measures, including making an appointment, enquiring visit purpose, presenting green health code, measuring body temperature, tracing travel journey and recording information, in order to lower the risk of infection from outside.
