Yada Theater, In Shortlist of 2021 A+Awards

Recently, the world's largest architectural websites Architizer.com published the shortlisted namelist of 2021 The Architizer A+Awards. Among more than 5000 applicants from over 100 countries, only 10% entered into the list. Yangxian Xishan Yada Theater from goa entered the list of CULTURAL-Unbuilt Cultural category.

Now the website has opened public voting channel.

Project Profile

Yada Theater lies in green hills and tea gardens. Different from many urban performance buildings, it is an authentic “theater in the nature”. In virtue of exceptional natural conditions, the theater uses the thinking manner of openness to create a unique visiting experience integrating art and nature, rather than the design of a “closed box”. The design derives from the cultural allusion of scholar gathering in Song Dynasty for a contemporary cultural coordinate in the nature.
