Yada Panasonic Community Launch and Wellness & Aged-care Forum Grandly Held at Yangxian Xishan

On July 19th, Yada Panasonic Community Launch and Wellness & Aged-care Forum was grandly held at Yada Yangxian Xishan in Yixing. The Event was hosted by Panasonic. Representative Director and Executive Vice President of Panasonic Corporation, CEO of Panasonic China & Northeast Asia Company Mr. Tetsuro Homma, Chairman of Yada Mr. Jiang Jianning, Director of Aging and Aged Care Industry Research Center, School of Management Zhejiang University Mr. Xing Yiqun, the famous architect Mr. Shuhei Aoyama and other guests as well as more than 30 Chinese and Japanese media attended the Event.

During the Event, Mr. Tetsuro Homma introduced Panasonic’s business strategy in China. He pointed out that, “wellness and aged care” was not only one of the key social issues for China today, but also one of Panasonic’s four major business strategies during the centennial corporate transformation. Panasonic carried out the strategic cooperation with Yada to jointly build up Yada Panasonic Community in Yixing, Jiangsu Province. With the concept of “wellness smart city”, it aimed to use Panasonic’s space control technology to offer a healthy space solution involving the necessary air, light and water based on the project’s requirement so that residents could enjoy a “safe, reassuring and comfortable” living environment as well as high-quality life.

Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning said, in the past over ten years, Yada insisted on creating domestic healthy aged care parks and leisure tourism destinations based on Chinese situation and pushing the healthcare, aged care and tourism industries development in China. The strategic cooperation with Panasonic to create Yada Panasonic Community would bring about a new wellness aged care pattern that combined Yada’s successful development and operation experience of those years and Panasonic’s leading healthcare & aged care concepts, technological products and related services. He expected the cooperation would lead a new sample for China’s healthcare and aged care industries that was worth of learning.

During the Event, guests from different fields had a profound discussion on the current situation and demands of China’s aged-care market, covering the gradually aging social context of China, the improvement of aged-care policies, the deepening of aged care industry layout and the continuous research and development of the elderly products. They talked freely from their own aspects on how to face with the future’s Chinese aged-care market.

In addition, Panasonic Wellness Smart Life Hall was open during the Event. The Life Hall would offer Panasonic’s aged care products, technology and real experience.
