Gaochun Graceland | Sharing Reading Room Invites Your Participation

There should be a place for reading at every town. At Gaochun Graceland, there will be a sharing reading room convenient to access. It is a culture landmark of the town, lightening the good daily life and shaping the spiritual charm of Graceland.

A Space for Sharing Reading

The development of the town cannot divorce from the joint participation of the residents when designing and constructing the good daily life. Compared with the creation of space and environment, excellent neighborhood is more moved. 

"The bookshelf has been filled in. It is better to share with others rather than leaving them there alone." Due to such vision, positive residents and Graceland staff began to prepare the Sharing Reading Room.

The Reading Room adopts self-running and sharing mode. Books here are donation from the residents and staff. Each book delivers the good wish of its owners.

On the book, the owners leave their wish connecting readers and sharing their mind.

A Spirit Island with Beautiful Landscape

The Sharing Reading Room locates between the Chinese style water yard and the outdoor swimming pool separately along the central landscape axis. It is easy to access through the outdoor corridor.

On the east and west side of the Reading room, there is a lawn respectively as a buffer of noise. That ensures the Reading Room quiet and suitable for reading. In the Room, you can enjoy the green through the window, hear the  chirp of birds, and read lines on the book with the sunshine.

Natural light is brought into the room through 270° transparent glass wall, creating bright and comfortable reading environment. Outside there are sunshine and green plants. In the room, it is quiet with the charm of books. When raising the head, readers could enjoy the landscape out of the window.

Simple but Pure Reading Space

Both the interior design and the furniture are simple but elegant. Without luxury material and complexed functions, it aims to focus on books offering readers a simple and quiet reading environment. 

The lighting system combines array light source with light tape. With walnut color book shelves and oat color leather chairs and tables, the Reading Room looks warm and simple.

Besides the book display area and the reading area, it has a space for children and parents reading. There the chairs and tables are specially designed for children. The bookshelves on the second floor are also designed for children based on their reading habits. Here, parents could sit on the floor with their children and enjoy good reading time together.

Continuous Growth of Good Life

The Sharing Reading Room is not only a place for reading, but also a space full of warmth, optimism and high quality humanity. With the development of Gaochun Graceland, here will be a venue for reading sharing clubs, poem clubs, lectures and salons.

Space connects people. Space creation means creating scenario. These scenario will be the spiritual marks of the town life. The opening of every public space starts the good life, adding more content to Gaochun Graceland.
