Physician Act of People's Republic of China

On August 20th, Physician Act of People's Republic of China was approved by voting at the 30th meeting of the standing commission of the 13th National People's Congress. It will be carried out on March 1st 2022 to offer effective legal protection on assuring physician's legal rights, regulating their medical practice, strengthening physicians team building and implementing the Strategy of Healthy China. It specifies that the State will carry out measures to improve the education mechanism on mutual learning of western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, and cultivate high-level talent combining the western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine and offering combined service.
