Zhejiang Announced the Latest Aged-care Service Subsidy Policy

Recently, the "Zhejiang Province Aged-care Service Subsidy Policy Implementation Measures" has been issued to further clarify the types, standards and methods of industry subsidies. "Measures" will come into effect on January 1st, 2022. The subsidy mentioned in the "Measures" refers to the elderly (above 80 years old) who are disabled, demented, and able to take care of themselves in low-income families with Zhejiang registered permanent residence. After evaluation, they could take the form of government subsidies. It is a social welfare that provides support for receiving home-based community aged-care services or staying in aged-care institutions.
