Golden-Era Cinema Officially Opened at Yada Yangxian Xishan

During the National Day holiday in golden October, Golden-Era Cinema, one more important cultural & recreational facility at Yada Yangxian Xishan, was officially opened.

The Cinema locates at the Central Plaza of the Town that is the core area of Yada Yangxian Xishan. Around it, there are abundant commercial types, such as bar, restaurant, hotel and supermarket. Moviegoers could have many options for activities before and after movie.

The name “Golden Era” is derived from the verse of Mr. Su Dongpo “Let’s light a new fire to make a cup of fresh tea. Let’s write poems and get drunk while we’re still young”, implying a pleasant life in mundane reality. The Cinema adopts vintage Shanghai style. Under the design theme of Film and Humanity, it would offer classical and elegant watching experience. The lobby drew on the architectural features of Paramount in old Shanghai, creating the scene by symbolic old Shanghai cinema elements, such as old gramophone, old camera and old stage backdrops. On the walls indoor, posters and stage photos of classical old films have been posted up, highlighting an artistic atmosphere and bringing audience into a dreamlike film world.

Golden-Era Cinema is a standardized modern cinema with 6 halls and maximum capacity of 300 audience. Hall 1 is equipped with the world-leading Dolby Atmos technology. It could deliver dynamic sound effect in synchronization according to the movie content, creating an authentic sound effect from far to near. Together with the loudspeaker boxes on the ceiling, it enables sound field envelopment, showing more details of the sound as well as making every corner to receive the same sound effect. Dolby Atmos improves the experience of watching movies.

In addition, each hall is equipped with the imported JBL system. Some halls are installed with leather sofa and electric sofa chair, taking both entertainment and comfort into account.

In virtue of the cooperation with Omnijoi Cinemas, Golden-Era Cinema enjoys rich movie resource. The Cinema’s completion and opening add new content for diversified cultural life in the Town Center of Yada Yangxian Xishan, and inject new vigor into the night economy development of Yixing Yangxian Ecotourism Resort.
