Town Center of Yada Yangxian Xishan Listed as First Jiangsu Provincial Level Tourism Leisure Street

On October 29th, The First Batch of Jiangsu Provincial Level Tourism Leisure Streets and Provincial Level Tourism Leisure Street Cultivating Institutions were officially published. The Town Center of Yixing Yada Yangxian Xishan has been honored as Jiangsu Provincial Level Tourism Leisure Street.

The Town Center is the life and commercial center of Yada Yangxian Xishan Project, as well as the Tourist Center for Yangxian Ecotourism Resort.

It covers the field of about 100,000 m2 with general floor area of nearly 50,000 m2.  The south-north touring route of the Town Center is about 1000 meters long and is composed of three zones, namely the south, the central and the north. Abundant business patterns here offer diversified travel experience.

South Zone features gourmet food, specila snacks, cultural experience and boutique homestay. Central Zone is a commercial street integrating fashion, trend, culture, catering and services. North Zone has boutique hotels, featured homestays and culture experiencing facilities.

In planning and design, the street size and building height of the Town Center have been proper considered. Neither sense of repression nor sense of hollowness when you walking through. Simple pedestrian streets are built to create the life scenes in childhood’s memory. It reshapes the close relationship between streets and people. In details, the Town Center also shows ingenuity. The tablets content of the Town Center comes from well-known poems of Mr. Su Dongpo and is displayed in his different calligraphies, such as Official Script of Han Dynasty and Regular Script of Tang Dynasty.

Town Center is an important event venue at Yada Yangxian Xishan and even Yangxian Ecotourism Resort. Since its debut in October 2020, it has held many grand themed cultural events, such as Yangxian Chinese New Year Event, Xishan Golden Autumn Lantern Show and Literary Yangxian Scholary Xishan Reading Day. It has become a popular cultural & commercial street suitable for travel, entertainment, shopping and living, making the cultural core of Yada Yangxian Xishan more solid as the Jiangsu Major Project (Year 2018) and Jiangsu Provincial Key Tourism Project (Year 2019), enriching the tourism business patterns in southern Yixing mountain area, as well as promoting the development of local night economy.
