Wuzhen Graceland is almost known in the whole real estate sector.

Ten year ago, the domestic aged-care industry was on the exploratory stage. The compound aged-care park started construction at Wuzhen, Zhejiang, which opened a new age-care time. Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park (including Wuzhen Graceland, Yile College, Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital, Youth Plaza, Yada Academy and etc.) of 1500 mu received thousands of visitors each year. Wuzhen Graceland was also honored as the most successful aged-care and holiday town, and a site to visit and learn for the insiders. Ten years passed. There is only one Wuzhen Graceland yet in China, for it is hard to duplicate. However, now Nanjing will welcome such a "legend" - Nanjing Gaochun Graceland - a Pro version of Wuzhen Graceland comes.

Let us return to four years ago.

Backbone of Yada team, creating Wuzhen Graceland, were actively looking for the cue of next story around Yangtze River Delta. The success of Wuzhen Graceland made them excited and also led them to get valuable experience and lesson. Although it is a "legend" project, the team found the shortage during project review. For example, restrained by the location and configuration, its medical facility was not a comprehensive one. When Yada arrived at Nanjing, it found a field of fortune at Gaochun.

When I interviewed the responsible person from Yada, "why you finally choose Gaochun?" He said, "it is close to our idea, so to speak. The supporting facilities here are well equipped already, such as transportation, healthcare, education and culture. There is no obvious short slab. " Gaochun Graceland locates at the downtown of Gaochun rather than outskirt of a small town. With higher perspective, you could understand the sophistication of the location. Here, it owns both flourishing facilities and peaceful environment.

The small town is next to Gaochun Old Street with more than one thousand years' history and beside sparkling Gucheng Lake. Within 1 km of the Project, there are the flourishing commercial facilities of this city, including hospital, school, mall, supermarket, park and etc. About 2.5 km away from the Project is Gaochun subway station. Endless visitors came pouring out from the station on the weekend and holidays to enjoy the charm of Jiangnan water town. The Project has its own education facility - Nanjing Gulou Kindergarten Gaochun Branch. It is a kindergarten with three grades and nine classes built according to Jiangsu Excellent Kindergarten Standard. The total floor area is about 3600㎡. It welcomed the first batch of children in this September.

Gaochun, known as "Holy Land of Jiangnan", owns a super IP - International Cittaslow with exclusive international positioning and fame. Here, you can see the Jiangnan scenery of Golden Sunrise and Silver Sunset and enjoy the originality and elaboration of Gaochun craftsmen beside Gucheng Lake, at Gaochun Old Street and Gaochun Ceramics. In fact, Gaochun is a city with two faces, one for more than one thousand history, and the other for solid modernization. The fast economic development and slow life pace are properly balanced here. When Graceland came to Gaochun, there would be a new legend in the land.

In the past, everything was slow, traveling, driving and posting. Relaxed life seems to be far away from us. In recent years, accelerated urbanization brought the dazzling modern city life, also simulated the good memory of landscape and countryside. In the context, we found culture & tourism towns were under construction around the city one by one and endless concepts such as 5+2 Lifestyle and the Second Living Space. But blueprint that could not be realized is empty talk.

Yada team knew that the success of a town came from the acceptation and love by residents. For the goal, Nanjing Gaochun Graceland has developed for four years. Based on Wuzhen Graceland, Yada invited domestically top architecture design institute GOA, gad·line+ studio and GTS to design buildings and landscape. The town was also created and operated by boneback of Wuzhen Graceland team. 

The whole Park covers about 1189 mu with total investment of 4.2 billion yuan. As design, it is made of three zones, namely Graceland commercial street, tourism resort and healthcare & wellness residential zone. Graceland Commercial Street has the total floor area of about 38000㎡ along the north side main road. It uses the modern new Chinese style architecture and is a real pedestrian street for the pedestrian system separated from the vehicle system.

On one side, The layout makes the Commercial Street to be the extension and supplement of Gaochun Old Street, forming a fluent travel route. On the other side, it makes up for the lack of commercial life street at Gaochun, meeting the daily living demands of residents and tourists. It is no exaggerating that this street combines ancient elegance and modern trend. In the main urban area of Nnajing, it is in the first class. We seemed to be at a British town street during our first visit. Here, we found the bar, Thailand cuisine restaurant and Hainan chicken rice ... Each featured store is so attractive. In a bistro, read books, enjoy wines and listen to lazy jazz. What an ideal life it is!

Beside the Commercial Street, it is New Century Resort Hotel Gaochn - a high-end resort hotel. Facing the water, it is equipped with three featured restaurants, two gyms, three conference halls, a bar, a book bar and the rooms for children activity. It is amazing that Gucheng Bay, a land of idyllic beauty of about 700 mu, is the garden of Graceland residents. The Scenic Area integrates multiple business patterns, including the high-end resort hotel, popular food & beverage, high-quality retails, life service and immersive hot pets and animals. It is an ideal place for friends, couples, senior people and children to travel. 

It is rare treasure that natural landscape. But for a town, the core asset is the life supporting facilities. Nanjing Gaochun Graceland uses full 2/3 land to create high quality supporting facilities. In addition, it has been constructed not only a piece of advertisement or a PPT. The first delivered part contained the outdoor corridor of about 8000 meters long, the waterside footpath of about 1200 meters long, an outdoor swimming pool of nearly 1000㎡, and multiple children playgrounds, sunshine lawn, gardens among departments, activity rooms and etc. Residents live in a whole Jiangnan-style garden actually.

Gathering makes up the world. Spreading means living. At Graceland, we find the lifestyle of a perfect town.

NO. 3

Time is a pendulum, but the memory is like a swing.  Further it was pushed away, deeper it swung back. The spring is full of peach read and willow green. Lotus blooms in the summer. Maple is as red as the fire in the autumn. In the winter, the snow is holily and purely white. During the change of seasons, we live in the narrow cement "box", yet still remember the happy laugh in the childhood. 

As a lines said, "We thought too much but felt very little. We develop the speed but confine ourselves." Therefore, as the fast city development, people demand more on the second residence for travel and leisure. But our experience on holiday is not as free as our imagination, which is confined by time and place. Take a three-day holiday as the example. As usual, both the outward voyage and return trip take one day respectively. Only one day is left for relaxation. In addition, it took a lot of time prior to the one-day holiday for information collection, making trip plan, buying tickets and planning routines. Once you receive a call during the holiday, it was too late to hurry back. 

Parents of our colleague bought a villa at Gaochun Graceland. During the weekdays, they helped to take care of the grandson. When they are in spare time, they drive to Graceland for a leisure time. It takes about over one hour by drive from the downtown through Ning-Xuan highway. 

NO. 4

For Nanjing residents, Gaochun Graceland can be regarded as a disruptive product.

Before, we sighed with emotion for no good house in Nanjing. We envied Shanghai and Hangzhou for their sample projects. Nanjing Gaochun Graceland renewed our concept by high standard facilities and careful operation. In Graceland, you seemed to travel in Jiangnan water town. 

At Graceland, residents with common hobbies gather to form varied kinds of clubs. The Project also built up many rooms for residents' activities, such as dancing, calligraphy, painting, handwork, tea tasting, wellness, sharing reading and etc. That could meet different cultural demands of residents. Many Graceland residents are well-known calligrapher and painter, successful entrepreneur and teachers from colleges. They made friends with each other based on common hobbies and brought colorful life at Graceland.

Graceland interprets the calm and openness of slow life. Because of it, the ideal lifestyle seems not far. 

In the future, we may arrive at this Utopia to experience the beauty of Graceland life.
