Puy du Fou Delegation Visits Yaohu Town

On February 16th 2022, Vice Chairwoman of Puy du Fou Asia Ms. Zhao Chongyi and Chief Development Officer Mr. Dimitri Delopoulos visited Yaohu Town. Chairman of Yada Mr. Jiang Jianning and Partner of IDG Capital Mr. Li Jianguang hosted the work conference focusing on performance show. Members of Yada management team Mr. Dong Huanbo, Mr. Li Suiching and Mr. Zhu Zhenghua attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Puy du Fou reported the work progress on the performance show’s design, content and staff recruitment & training. Ms. Zhao Chongyi said, Puy du Fou had more than 40 years’ experience in professional performance, and could be supportive to many aspects including stage technique and marketing.

Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning pointed out that, the performance form of the show introduced from France was new to domestic market, and it would become one of the key IPs of Yaohu Town Scenic Area to attract wide tourists home and abroad after establishment. He expected both sides could make joint efforts for a successful present as early as possible.

The delegation of Puy du Fou made an on-site investigation on the Performance Show Theater construction site. General Manager of Yaohu Town Mr. Zhu Zhenghua introduced the Project’s planning and construction progress. The floor area of the Theater is about 50,000 m2 with the capacity of more than 2300 audience. Now 90% of the civil work has been completed. The site environment gave Puy du Fou great impression. They regraded it as the best choice to settle the performance show at Yaohu Town in Yixing Yangxian Ecotourism Resort.

Puy du Fou, with 42 years’ history in France, is the only 100% non-profit theme park in the world. It is well-known for large-scale live-action performance integrating many forms, such as the living theatre, dance and beast training. Puy du Fou has won numerous awards from the most prestigious juries in the United States and obtained the “Best Theme Park in the World” for three times.
