Yada Yixing Park Held Parent-Child Activity “Tour of Tea”

On March 27th, Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park held the Staff Parent-Child Activity “Tour of Tea”. The Activity was hosted by the HR & Administration Department of Yixing Park and co-organized by Yada Academy. Nearly 30 participants including staff from different departments and their relatives attended the entire process of tea culture experiencing tour.

The activity contained several parts, including tea picking, stir-drying, tasting and exchanges. All participants learned the tea picking techniques at Yada Tea Garden, experienced the tea stir-drying process, listened to the development history of Yangxian tea, watched the tea art performance and tasted the fragrance of spring tea at Yada Life Bookstore.

One core venue of the activity was Yada Tea Garden. It locates at the key tea production area of Yixing southern mountain area. In the southeast of Yada Yangxian Xishan, the tea garden by mountains and rivers is one of the important supporting facilities of Yada Yixing Park with beautiful landscape. The 480 mu Tea Garden, lying on the terraces, plants brand new tea with Wuxi Tea Research Institute. The tea of Yada Tea Garden has excellent quality and been widely praised.

Tour of Tea activity has been launched in 2021. It provides Yangxian Xishan residents and staff an opportunity to learn Yangxian tea culture by immersive experience in the tea garden. Around tea culture, Yada Academy offers junior and intermediate courses of tea art. Xishan residents also organized Xishan Tea Club spontaneously. Yada Yangxian tea has become a classic scenario of Xishan life in the spring, integrating into Xishan residents’ daily life and further promoting the development & popularization of local tea culture.
