Wuzhen and Yixing Parks Held World Reading Day Theme Activities

On April 23rd, the 27th World Reading Day, Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park and Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park held reading theme activities respectively, enjoying the beauty of literature with the Parks’ residents. The events contained activities offline and online, complying with local epidemic control regulations in a strict manner. While meeting the demands of residents on spirit and culture, their safety and health were guaranteed.

Wuzhen Park themed on “Immersive Reading” for the World Reading Day, composing of masterwork performance, study photo sharing and etc. Several park community residents showed the language beauty of Mr. Cao Yu’s Thunderstorm by performing its selected parts.

In addition, Wuzhen Park residents took photos of their own studies actively, sharing their reading environment and study life. Yada Life Bookstore recommended several bestsellers, such as Wen Cheng, Auspicious Sign and To the Finest School I Know, offering diversified choices for reading.

The World Reading Day 2022 was also the first anniversary of Xishang Reading Leaders Program of Yixing Park. Yada Academy of Yixing Park held activities such as “Online Reading Sharing”, “Echo Wall Recitation Experience” and the latest Xishan Reading Leaders Program live streaming, comprehensively creating reading atmosphere in the Park

The Online Reading Sharing invited six Yangxian Xishan residents and nine Park staff to tell the change of reading habits since the epidemic breakout and after living or working at Yangxian Xishan. They also recommended high quality books to the audience.

Yada Academy provided readers the reading experience with stereophonic echo based on the Echo Wall at the round square. Around the square, Yada Academy placed selected books for tourists, residents and staff to read. During the Activity period, Yada Life Bookstore also launched special offer for readers to enjoy reading.

On the afternoon of the 24th, the first anniversary of Xishan Reading Leaders Program theme lecture was held at Yada Theater. Mr. Yang Kui, co-founder of Yada Academy and the Writer, told Stories behind Yangxian Xishan Horizontal Inscribed Boards by live streaming. In the housing clusters of Yangxian Xishan, including Lake, Mountain, Purity of Mind, Streams and Plum Blossoms, there are more than 170 horizontal inscribed boards. All names are selected from the local historical data and written by Mr. Yang Kui. Craftsman carved them into boards. The positions of all boards are determined by sophisticated thinking and study, referring to Yixing old downtown as the center. Extending from the Lake housing cluster, streets and lanes in the Park integrated the name of Yixing landscape, fully filled with poetry and one thousand culture of Yixing. The live streaming won warm responses. The audience actively interacted and contributed around 50,000 likes during the whole activity.

Chairman of Yada International and Founding Partner of Yada Capital Mr. Jiang Jianning had warm exchange with the audience. He pointed out that, although the epidemic posed many oncoming challenges, Yada would always insist the path of sustainable development, as well as keep high construction and operation quality with the belief of long-term development. After explaining the original intention of Yada to settle in Yixing, he stressed out the corporate mission to serve the residents, improve the wellness & aged-care life quality, create benefits for  nearby residents and enhance the development of tourism & economy in southern Yixing mountain area.
