Yada Yangxian Xishan Film Club Founded to Reproduce Classic

On the afternoon of May 19th，Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park’s Choir Film Club founding ceremony and the first film-watching activity were held at Yada Academy of Yada Yangxian Xishan. This has been the 12th interest club set up by Xishan residents spontaneously.

The founding ceremony began with a special form. A vintage projector showed a news brief of 1972 onto the screen. The lively Spring Festival atmosphere of old Peking in the short video resonated with the present audience. The Club was officially founded by clapping the board that used for shooting start then.

The name of the Club derived from the film The Choir. It was filled with men’s warmth and friendship as well as the inspiration of art to humanity, which agreed with the Club aim to gather all Xishan film enthusiasts to enjoy wonderful life in film & TV art.

According to President of the Club Mr. Liu Xuezhong, for most of people, slide film had become a good memory. Over the years, he collected many slide films. He expected to share more classic films with Xishan neighbors, enriching their cultural life. In addition, the Club provided the first batch of exclusive cinema cards of 365 yuan with Golden Era Cinema. It entitled unlimited opportunities to watch movie in the whole year, enjoying visual feast by doorstep.  

Chairman of Yada International and Founding Partner of Yada Capital Mr. Jiang Jianning attended the Activity. He congratulated the establishment of the Club and pointed out that, as more resident clubs were set up, the spiritual & cultural activities in the Park had been enriched and residents exchange been efficiently enhanced. More and more residents joined in the community construction, playing the role of master. For feedback their sincere efforts, Yada was going to launch the “Park Credit” program. All public benefit activities in the Park would be quantized for credits. The credit could be used to exchange services in the fields of academic courses, sports & fitness, film & entertainment and healthcare & check-up, delivering love and kindness.

At the end, Chairman Mr. Jiang Jianning expected more residents to be involved in the joint construction of Yangxian Xishan, sharing their wisdom and effort, as well as helping each other, in order to jointly create a health and wellness park with imaginative lifestyle.

As the first film-watching activity of the Club, the site played The Choir, letting residents to revisit the classic film. After the film, all participants shared their feelings and understanding.

After the founding of BMB Music Salon and Xishan Philharmonic Club, the establishment of Film Club will further enrich the spiritual and cultural life of Yangxian Xishan residents. It will be an exchange platform to share understandings on art and life, enhancing the interaction and mutual improvement among neighbors, as well as adding more colors to the Yangxian Xishan big family.
