Yada Three Parks Held Midsummer Activities to Celebrate Dragon Boat Festival

From June 2nd to 5th, the holiday of Chinese traditional Dragon Boat Festival, zones of Wuzhen Yada International Health Ecological Park, Yixing Yada Health Ecological Park and Gaochun Health Leisure Tourism Park held various forms of cultural activities centered on festival theme, enjoying midsummer joy and spending a warm Dragon Boat Festival with Parks’ residents and travelers.

On June 2nd, Yada International Rehabilitation Hospital, the healthcare zone of Wuzhen Park held a party themed “Joyful Midsummer, Healthy Yada”. The activity was designed by the medical team for inpatients and their relatives, including VTE health education as well as some occupational therapy mini-games related to Dragon Boat Festival customs such as tying five-color threads and DIY collage. On the same day, Pine Care Yada (Wuzhen) Elderly Center organized a gathering with the theme of “Warm Dragon Boat Festival, Recollect Past Times”. The elderly enjoyed festival atmosphere and had joyful experience through Dragon Boat Festival fair and interesting games.

On June 3rd, Wuzhen Graceland, the residential zone of Wuzhen Park held “Joyful Summer，Healthy Dragon Boat Festival” party at the south plaza of Reception Hall. Various kinds of folk custom experiencing activities attracted the residents to participate, including craftsman experience such as making snowy skin zongzi, sachets, hairpins and circular fans; parent-child interactions such as dragon dance and wave five-color threads; as well as neighborhood promotion activities such as folk custom fair and interesting exploration.

Gucheng Bay Scenic Area, the cultural tourism zone of Gaochun Park, began “Joyful Dragon Boat Festival in Fun Early Summer” event on June 2nd. Lawn Fair offered over 30 featured food brands and more than 10 interactive games. YoYo Fair cooperated with Slow Snail Trunk Fair to create one-stop camping experience. Parent-child travel families had many choices of aquatic sports, including kayak, bumper boat and sculling boat. The Scenic Area also provided comprehensive holiday experience to residents and travelers, covering food, accommodation, transportation, traveling and shopping, jointly with New Century Resort Hotel, Graceland Commercial Street and other facilities of the Park.

On the afternoon of the Festival Day, Gaochun Graceland, the residential zone of Gaochun Park warmly held Zongzi Party at Crab Restaurant in Gucheng Bay. Residents gathered to make zongzi, organize traditional culture quiz and play folk custom games, spending a festival full of traditional atmosphere.

On the morning of June 2nd, Yada Academy and Yada Greentown Property Management jointly organized the community activity themed “Enjoy Dragon Boat Festival at Happy Xishan” at No. 23 Hall of Bamboo House Cluster in Yixing Park. Residents of Yangxian Xishan gathered to talk about folk custom, watch performance, wave egg bags, tie color thread, make zongzi and bind wormwood, celebrating Dragon Boat Festival and having a good time together. On the afternoon of June 3rd, the 12th Session of Yada Academy Lectures & Talks was held at the Lecture Hall under the theme of Chatting Lady White Snake on Dragon Boat Festival. Mr. Kong Jie, TV producer, director and host, told about the legend of Lady White Snake in opera. Dragon Boat Festival activities organized by Yada Academy would last to June 5th. In addition to folk custom exhibition and display, resident clubs would also organize themed cultural parties every day, including writing Buddhist scripture, reciting, singing and dancing, showing colorful cultural life of Yangxian Xishan.

During the Festival holiday, Town Center of Yixing Park synchronously launched wonderful summer fair, bringing blazing summer life atmosphere. The Fair gathered various kinds of recreation projects, such as craftsman experience, pour-over coffee, escape bookroom and children amusement, creating poetic, chic, healthy and artistic holiday life. Yangxian Xishan Town Center also cooperated with supporting facilities and stores such as Golden Era Cinema, Quest of Jiangnan, Yada Fitness Center and Loong Retreat, providing holiday special offer to meet the summer travel demand of residents and travelers in the Jiangnan oxygen-rich town.

The landscape in south China turns luxuriant in midsummer. Life of Yada Parks is also getting more and more wonderful.
