Jiangsu Issued Basic Aged Care Service Guidance Catalogue

On July 8th, Jiangsu Provincial Civil Affairs Department held a press conference on enhancing the basic aged care service policy establishment. The provincial Civil Affairs Department, Development and Reform Committee, Finance Department and Agriculture Department jointly explained Jiangsu Basic Aged Care Service Guidance Catalogue (2022) and Guidance Opinions on Promoting Rural Area Aged Care Service Quality Development. The Catalogue has 30 items as basic aged care services. The former version had 18 items. New items contain “consultant for silver hair”, visiting service, the support to the bereaved family who are entitled the comfort, compensation and preferential treatment, the support to needy families, compensation to the disabled, the special subsidy of family planning and etc.
