Yada Academy | Experience Tour of Farming Culture – Fresh Summer

On the afternoon of July 9th, Yada Academy held the Experience Tour of Farming Culture with the theme “Fresh Summer Series Activity” at Yada Agricultural Garden. Yada Town residents enjoyed the countryside landscape, tasted juicy fruits, painted straw hats creatively and experienced the joy of collection.

To shade in the blistering summer day, Yada Academy prepared straw hat painting activity. Under the guidance of staff, all participants drew colorful straw hats. They will accompany residents in the whole summer.

In the Sunflower Planting Base of Yada Agricultural Garden, General Manager of Yada Agriculture Mr. Yang Jie introduced the growth attribute and good message of sunflower. The Academy also prepared one sunflower for each family during this tour, sending sincere wish to Xishan residents. Vast area of sunflowers caught the attention of many participants. They took photos to record the beautiful time.

In this season, Yada Agricultural Garden is full of fruit fragrance, and vegetables are ready to eat. Long beans hanging on the pergola attracted most children. They entered into the plantation to learn the growth of crops and experience the joy of collection.

Watermelon is ideal fruit to relieve summer heat. The watermelon at Yada Agricultural Garden is selected classic variety. Without chemical fertilizer nor pesticide, it matures naturally following the rues of crop growth. It is popular among residents. During the activity, all participants did not have the chance to taste the delicious and juicy Yada watermelon, but also collected freshest watermelon in the farm.

As the midsummer is approaching, vegetables and fruits in Yada Agricultural Garden get mature gradually, offering organic and delicious vegetables in season. To bring residents to connect the nature and experience the surprise of seasonal plants, Yada Academy held farming culture experience tour at irregular intervals, exploring the rural life and joy of collection with Xishan residents.
