In the fiery summer, it makes body relaxed that doing exercise or sports. In the morning, morning exercise time begins. Eight-sectioned exercise, Tai Chi, soft power ball … relaxed but powerful, they are suitable to stretch body in the morning.

Music is the favorite of most of Graceland residents. In the world of music, we have the emotional resonance and enjoy mutual happiness. Just as teacher Fu of Graceland Elderly Club said, “With Graceland neighbors, we spent joyful time and add literary art charm to Graceland as well.”

The heat does not reduce their enthusiasm to life. Singing with the evening breeze expresses their warmth. In common days, members of Graceland Elderly Club, Music Instrument Club and Music Element Club played music and sang songs together. Members of Graceful Voice Club express their good willing to life by songs.

Besides music, residents measure the joy of life by dance steps. Flexible postures and deft steps show the beauty of dance.

 “No matter where you are from and how old you are, everyone gather together based on interest,” Madam Wang said. Dance contains the dream of dancers. Every day is full of happiness. That is one reason why Graceland life is wonderful.

Self-cultivation from Poetry and Tea

In the long daytime, it is the most comfortable that enjoying cool and free time. At Graceland, residents like to taste tea and enjoy poems. In the afternoon, the sun is burning the earth. In one corner of the Academy, it is cool and full of the fragrance of tea and poetry.

Members from Graceland Poetry Recitation Club and residents who like poetry and tea gather together to share Chinese tea culture. Besides the adult, children are interested in the culture. Since ancient times, most poets like drinking tea and make friend by a cup of tea. Good verses come out along the fragrance of tea. It can be regarded as the charm of life that tasting tea and reading poems.

It is the first time for some resident to meet at Poetry and Tea Gathering. For the common hobby, they become friends from neighbors. Via the tea and poetry as the media, the distance among people is shortened. They find friends with common interest in joyful and friendly atmosphere.
