Recently, China’s first provincial-level safety standard for aged-care service was published officially. It was compiled by Yixing Municipal Society Welfare Center. The Standard filled in the gap of domestic aged-care institutes in safety management. The Standard focuses on hidden dangers in the fields of nursing, psychology, physiology and biology to troubleshoot any risk that could cause accidents, including fire, food, medicine, service and staff personal safety. It defines the Red Line in aged-care institutes.
